I worked at the Engineering and Safety Center at NASA. I developed simulations to seek out what aspects of a spacecraft are the hardest to control and to measure the mental awareness of the pilot and other passengers in the aircraft. The simulation was designed and created in Python. Using millions of database entries of past space simulations, I created statistical models to determine if an astronaut was ready for space travel.

In 2017, I created a learning algorithm to detect colorectal cancer in men and women and implemented this as a mobile application that will be available soon on the Google Play Store as well as the Apple App Store. I used Python, Java, HTML/CSS, C++ and SAS to accomplish this project. This is a huge innovation, because now patients know their risk of having colorectal cancer before going to the doctor for a colonoscopy. This does not fully detect colorectal cancer but it gives a probability of having colorectal cancer.

This was the first college I did research at. With three professors, two PhD students and one undergraduate student, we created a learning algorithm which implements CV2 in Python and uses real time footage from the surveillance cameras from a major intersection, and detects a car accident before it happens. We were sponsored and partners with Georgia 411. One of the biggest issues when a vehicle accident occurs is the proper authorities are not called on time. Our algorithm not only detects a car accident, but also calls the authorities needed to give the victims the attention they need.

Throughout high school, I worked at the Synergy Lab at Georgia Tech led by Professor Tushar Krishna. My project was creating a supercomputer to be attached onto drones which are flown into natural disaster areas. This supercomputer runs thousands of machine learning algorithms simultaneously to find any victims in the natural disaster and either help them in any way or call the authorities.
