I applied KNN and other data science techniques for in-depth astronaut performance reviews in simulations, identifying top mission candidates, and delivering weekly progress reports with improvement strategies. In partnership with SpaceX, I developed statistical models to evaluate alternative fuels, supporting NASA's Green Propellant Infusion Mission toward more sustainable space travel.

In 2017, I created a learning algorithm to detect colorectal cancer in men and women and implemented this as a mobile application that will be available soon on the Google Play Store as well as the Apple App Store. I used Python, Java, HTML/CSS, C++ and SAS to accomplish this project. This is a huge innovation, because now patients know their risk of having colorectal cancer before going to the doctor for a colonoscopy. This does not fully detect colorectal cancer but it gives a probability of having colorectal cancer.

This was the first college I did research at. With three professors, two PhD students and one undergraduate student, we created a learning algorithm which implements CV2 in Python and uses real time footage from the surveillance cameras from a major intersection, and detects a car accident before it happens. We were sponsored and partners with Georgia 411. One of the biggest issues when a vehicle accident occurs is the proper authorities are not called on time. Our algorithm not only detects a car accident, but also calls the authorities needed to give the victims the attention they need.

Throughout high school, I worked at the Synergy Lab at Georgia Tech led by Professor Tushar Krishna. My project was creating a supercomputer to be attached to drones that are flown into natural disaster areas. This supercomputer runs thousands of machine learning algorithms simultaneously to find any victims in a natural disaster and either help them in any way or call the authorities.
